Hiring managers can access a directory of pre-vetted, ready-to-hire candidates for contract jobs, schedule interviews and extend offers. Standing in as the employer of record, HireArt digitally onboards new hires and is responsible for payroll, time & attendance, benefits administration, and compliance. Using HireArt, candidates can apply not only to specific requisitions for contract jobs but also build profiles accessible to a broad universe of hiring managers who can engage them about contract jobs they have not applied to. HireArt, in short, helps candidates find the best jobs with ease, and hiring managers can cost-effectively hire the best candidates with short filltimes and high fill-rates. HireArt values the privacy of those who use our services. The following policy explains our practices surrounding the collection, use, and sharing of the personal information we collect.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we collect through our website as it may be modified, relocated and/or redirected from time to time (the “Site”), and to resumes that we receive from a variety of sources including the candidates themselves, staffing agencies, payroll providers and resume databases, that are used to populate our talent directory. The security and confidentiality of your personal information is important to us. The Company has implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures for the purpose of protecting the personal information we receive against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and against any other unlawful forms of processing. However, these measures are not absolute, and the Company cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. In addition, the transmission of data over the Internet by its nature entails the use of systems under the control of third parties. As a result the Company cannot ensure the security of such systems.
We will retain the personal information we collect for as long as required to satisfy the purpose for which it is collected and used (for example, for the time necessary for us to fulfill orders, provide you with customer service, answer queries, or resolve technical problems), unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, such as to fulfill our legal obligations or to establish, protect or defend legal claims.
You may choose not to provide the personal information we request through the Site. However, in some cases, if you decide not to provide information we request, you may not be able to use certain features of the Site, and we may not be able to provide services, products, or information.
You may opt out of receiving our commercial email messages at any time by using the opt-out mechanism provided in the message.
You may be able to restrict the automatic collection of some information by the Site through your device’s operating system or browser, or take other steps to block, manage, or delete cookies. Doing so, however, may prevent you from using the functionality of the Site.
Before processing a resume received from a third-party, the Company sends the candidate an email giving them an opportunity to opt-out of using our services. The Company will permanently destroy the resume of any candidate who chooses to opt-out of using our services. Candidates who choose not to opt-out of using our services are placed in the Company’s talent directory and asked to edit their personal profile.
HireArt is an equal employment opportunity employer. The Company also prohibits harassment of applicants and employees based on any protected category, characteristic or status. We operate internationally and your information may be transferred out of the jurisdiction where you are located, including to the United States. The data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction and may not provide the same level of data protection compared to the laws in the jurisdiction in which you are located.
When we transfer personal information subject to the data protection laws of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (“UK”) outside of the EEA, Switzerland, and UK, we will rely on a framework that provides appropriate safeguards, which could include the standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules, or another framework deemed adequate by the European Commission.
If you are located in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, you have rights to request access to, correction of, erasure of, or to receive your personal information or transfer your personal information to another controller. You also have rights to request to object to or restrict the processing of your personal information. If our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent without impacting the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal. This section of the Privacy Policy applies only to consumers who reside in California (as used in this section, “consumers” or “you”) and to our processing of particular consumers’ or consumer households’ personal information (“California Personal Information”) that HireArt collects through any means, including the Site and other online and offline methods. California Personal Information does not include, and this section of the Policy does not apply to, information that is subject to exceptions from the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), such as deidentified information.
This section also does not address our processing of personal information of our own job applicants, employees, and contractors for human resources, employment, benefits administration, health and safety, and other similar business-related and legal compliance purposes.
Additionally, this section of the Privacy Policy applies only to the extent we direct the purposes and means of California Personal Information processing and otherwise qualify as a “business” under the CCPA. It does not apply to our activities as a “service provider” to our clients, as that term is defined under the CCPA, or to California Personal Information that we process in that capacity.

We have also configured our Site to process opt-out preference signals that may allow you to inform us of your desire to opt out of sales or sharing as described in the above paragraph. Opt-out preference signals must be in a format commonly used and recognized by businesses and be delivered by a platform, technology, or mechanism that makes clear to consumers that the use of the signal is meant to have the effect of opting the consumer out of sales and sharing of California Personal Information as described above. We cannot respond to a request or provide you with California Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the California Personal Information relates to you.

Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia (“Additional States”) privacy laws’ provide residents of those states with additional rights regarding our processing of personal information subject to those laws. The Company may change this Privacy Policy from time to time in its sole discretion. If the Company makes a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will inform you by posting a notice on this site. Those changes will go into effect on the effective date posted in the revised notice. The new privacy policy will apply to all current and past users of the careers site and to all information collected before the date of the change. The new privacy policy will replace any prior privacy policies that are inconsistent. Please check periodically for changes to this Privacy Policy, and especially before you provide any personal information to the Company.
