Our Story (So Far)

In fact, we are the first and only company to build a modern, end-to-end employment platform for the W-2 contract workforce. Included on Inc.’s 2022 List of Fastest-Growing Companies, HireArt is a YC-backed company based in New York City and just raised $26.25M.

We are a software company, and we build together

Our competitors, traditional staffing agencies, solve problems by using people to provide services. We solve problems through software first: by enabling automation and creating tools that deliver significantly more value to our clients than a typical staffing firm.

As HireArt employees and managers, we use our platform just like contract workers and businesses use it. This provides strong motivation for us to improve our own product. And it sets an example for our customers and employees: we are asking them to use something that we first use ourselves.

We talk often of the “Minimum Viable Product” - the smallest platform improvement we could make that would add value to our customers. We strive to get features out as quickly as possible to see how they are received, and to ensure that the next release addresses feedback.
